Meet DockWrench: Charleston's Marketplace for Marine Mechanics

Finding a Good Marine Mechanic in Charleston Shouldn't Be This Hard

If you own a boat in the Lowcountry, you know the drill. Your outboard starts running rough in the middle of the season. You ask around at the marina, post in a Facebook group, and call a few numbers. Then you wait for callbacks that may never come.

The good mechanics are busy, and plenty of them run small, independent shops without much of a web presence. Word of mouth has always been how boaters found help, but it's slow, hit or miss, and useless if you're new to the area.

DockWrench was built to fix that.

What Is DockWrench?

DockWrench is a local marketplace that connects Charleston-area boat owners with marine technicians. Think of it as Angi, but built specifically for boats.

Instead of calling around, you can see who's available in one place, compare their profiles, and reach out to the right tech for the job.

Know Who You're Hiring

Every DockWrench profile shows the business name, service area, services and contact details the technician provided. Certifications are listed by the technician, so ask to see proof before you book.

Built in Charleston, for Charleston

DockWrench isn't a national directory full of listings that haven't been updated in years. It's local, founded here by a Charleston boater, and focused on the Lowcountry waterways we all use: the Ashley, the Cooper, the Wando, the ICW, and everything in between.
