Yes — no contracts, no cancellation fees. Cancel from your Tech Portal dashboard at any time. Your listing stays active through the end of your current billing period.

Is the 30-day free trial real?

100% real. No credit card required to start. You get full access to your chosen plan for 30 days. If you don't want to continue, just don't add a payment method — no charge ever.

Do customers pay through DockWrench?

No. DockWrench handles discovery and booking only. All payment happens directly between you and the customer — cash, Venmo, check, whatever works for you. We never touch your money.

What certifications can I display?

ABYC, Mercury Marine Certified, Yamaha Marine, Volvo Penta, Evinrude/BRP, MerCruiser, and more. We verify credentials during onboarding by checking with the issuing organizations directly.

How do boat owners find me?

Boat owners search by ZIP code, service type, and boat type. Your listing appears based on proximity, rating, and plan tier. Pro and Shop plan techs get priority placement in search results.

Is DockWrench only in Charleston?

For now, yes — we're starting in Charleston, SC and the surrounding Lowcountry. We're expanding to new markets soon. Sign up now to be first in your area when we launch.

How do I get paid faster?

Since payment goes directly between you and the customer, you get paid the moment the job is done — no waiting for platform payouts, no holds, no delays.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Yes — switch plans at any time from your billing dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

What happens if a customer no-shows?

We have a trust and safety team that handles disputes. Customers who no-show repeatedly can be flagged and removed from the platform.

Can I list multiple techs?

The Shop plan ($199/month) supports up to 5 staff profiles under one business listing — perfect for marina shops with multiple technicians on staff.
